Booked a table a day before to open our fasts, I acknowledge we was told to arrive 20 minutes before fast opens however due to road conditions we were running late, we rang to inform the restaurant we are running late and we pre booked our order and tables however they did not take anything into consideration and gave the table to somebody who had not even booked a table,

Every time I visit, Madeeha consistently takes the best care of us and ensures everything is perfect. What impresses me even more is that she treats every customer with the same level of care and attention. It’s clear she truly cares about her work! Thanks to her, we always look forward to coming back because the service is exceptional since she’s been here.

I had a very bad experience at Toro's Steakhouse. The food was disappointing, lacking flavor and quality. The staff was rude and unhelpful, making the dining experience unpleasant. The service was extremely slow, and the overall atmosphere was unwelcoming. On top of that, the prices were unreasonably high for the poor quality of food and service. Definitely not worth it!

Very non sense staff they don’t know how to talk with the customers
Our recent visit to a restaurant with the family was a frustrating experience from start to finish. Upon arrival, we were left waiting for a table despite having made a reservation, and the staff seemed disorganized and uninterested in helping. Once seated, it took an unusually long time for our server to take our order, and when the food finally arrived, several dishes were cold and poorly prepared. The portions were smaller than expected, and some of the items were incorrect. Throughout the meal, the noise level was overwhelming, making it difficult to enjoy a conversation. To top it off, the staff was unresponsive when we raised our concerns, leaving us feeling ignored and disappointed. It was not the pleasant family outing we had hoped for, and we won’t be returning.

I recently visited todos and unfortunately had a disappointing experience with the service staff. While the ambiance of the place was nice, but Staff behavior was not good. I understand that everyone can have an off day, but a bit of attentiveness and courtesy could have made a big difference. If could have something below than one star I would have done that went for a family dinner suffered with so bad experience and threatening from the staff we came here thinking it's good big massive place would accepting card when the bill came they ask to pay by cash and we never carry cash after covid it's everywhere card payment it's few of this horrific business to save taxes goes cash only putting customer at inconvenient my brother was only man in family with them to have conversation they were 3 4 people from their side arguing over paying only cash we took him aside but this bad experience unacceptable customer service and rudeness of staff has spoiled all our evening ...I would highly recommend avoid this place at all cost people who goes from different city don't know the place so nicely would have to suffer real bad knowing they aren't accepting card or giving some other option of PayPal or bank transfer but NO they want cash only to save tax

I had an incredibly frustrating experience. My family and I visited for dinner, only to discover that they only accept cash payments, which was not mentioned anywhere in their advertisements or on their website. I attempted to pay with a card, as we don’t typically carry large amounts of cash, but the staff was incredibly rude and dismissive when I explained the situation. Instead of offering any understanding or solutions, they became hostile and aggressively insisted I pay with cash.
When I politely tried to discuss the inconvenience, they raised their voices and were extremely disrespectful, making us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. Their behavior was completely unprofessional, and I was shocked by how they treated my family and me over a simple payment issue.
This kind of poor customer service is unacceptable. I will never return, and I would strongly advise others to avoid this place. There are plenty of restaurants out there that respect their customers and have modern payment options.

"I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. The food quality was absolutely pathetic—bland, stale, and nowhere near fresh. The ambiance was dull and uninviting, making the dining experience even worse. What made it unbearable was the staff’s attitude—they were not just rude but also completely unprofessional, acting as if they were doing us a favor by serving us. The prices were outrageously high, yet the portion sizes were ridiculously small, making it a complete waste of money. On top of that, the service was painfully pathetic and questionable. I would never return to this place and strongly advise others to avoid it at all costs.

I've been going to Toros every weekend for a while now, and each time, I’ve had the pleasure of being served by the amazing Madiha. She’s always so attentive and makes sure everything is perfect, from the food to the overall service. It’s clear she genuinely cares about providing the best experience. Whether it’s making sure my meal is just right or checking in to see if I need anything, Madiha goes above and beyond every time. I truly look forward to my visits, not just for the great food but for the exceptional service she provides.

Always come to toros in Birmingham and never fails to disappoint, amazing food and service by all the staff and management. Umair gave great service as well and was very attentive to all customers and sat us down very quickly considering it was busy. Will be back again

So I think standards are just very low for halal steak places which is unfortunate, not sure why this place is popular and has such large queues, the food is awful.
Firstly the steak, there is a lack of understanding or care of how well done the steak is and I’ve seen this in other reviews too. If you ask for medium rare you will get rare and it’ll be inconsistent across the cut. The steaks are wet and lack any sear. The chips, are soggy because they’ve just been drowned in sauce and the “piri” just tastes like a load of ketchup was dumped on top. Definitely just from a frozen bag, same with the vegetables. No tap water and the water you pay for are small sized bottles.
The food is not cheap for the quality you are getting compared to going to any real steakhouse and cash only which in 2025 just doesn’t make any sense.
You’ll have your “sizzler” plates served and sitting there for minutes before having a bunch of cutlery just dumped on the table. Again if this was non halal and anywhere else it wouldn’t be open.

The staff takes care of us every time. Not only do they listen to our requirements but make us feel comfortable and always provide excellent service. The brilliant workers who makes us feel accomodated and welcomed - we come back on a regular basis for the best lamb chops in the UK.

I enjoyed my toro's special which included a sirloin steak although I would say it tasted a slightly too peppery, it was juicy and cooked well. Strawberry mojito was perfect; sweet and refreshing. A bit annoying that they don't accept card. But overall great and fast service. I want to thank zeenat (I’m not sure if that’s correct 🥲) who helped me at the till.

This place is horrendously awful. I first went here a few years back. Place was packed. Service staff weren't very good. Sat us down and ignored us for ages. Served other customers they seated after us.
The food wasn't good. Really bad chewy horrible steak. The veg was quite cold. Clearly hadn't been defrosted properly. The chips were poor.
I went to this place again recently as I've regularly seen it packed. I thought it's been a few years so maybe it was a one off and I should give them a second chance. Absolute chaos in the restaurant. Staff running around all over the place. No real manners or focus on speaking to customers with any due care or attention. Again speaking to each other talking nonsense having a laugh and joke whilst we were mid sentence trying to make an order.
Then the food came out. The steak was really bad. Really chewy. Tried to soldier through each bite but eventually had to spit it out. Was awful. Chips were really bad. I can't think of a place with worse food. I won't ever be going here again.
